Ben graduated from Wolf to Bear in Cub Scouts. The best part of this (according to Ben) is the cross over ceremony. The Boy Scouts build a fire (a real fire) and a plank type deal for the Cubs to walk across. This was the coolest thing ever. I've never seen so many kids so excited to walk across flames...Note the rain boots with shorts. It's a Vashon thing.

Congrats Ben! I am so please Sam and Ben are in the scouting programs. It was a highlight for me when I was their age. Ben, I need to get a pair of those boots.dbfmayie

Ah, scouts! We still need to get the new season planned, but I am kind of dreading it! Congratulations to Ben! He is getting so big!! Love the boots!
