This was a very fun day. All the parents of the 5th graders show up for the assembly. They hand out awards and then all the parents make a "tunnel" as the kids conga out the door. It was a blast. While outside the kids have their tee shirts signed (more fun than yearbooks) and the parents wander around with stunned looks. I was in that crowd for sure...wow, I really have a kiddo who is going to JR HIGH?!??

Sam it looks like you have some great friends. Your school also looks like a great place. I hope you enjoy JR high as much. Just remember to be yourself and do the things you have been taught and the things you believe in.
Congrats to you Sam! I have to admit I initially was thinking 63 laps then I realized it said 63 miles and I realized I just couldn't think about it without getting winded, that is just too freaking long! You are a champ!
