Geocaching

Our family has recently discovered geocaching. It's an outdoor treasure hunting game were you use a GPS (and patience) to find hidden "caches" all over the world (there are literally millions). A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing small trinkets and a log book. If you take something out, you leave something. Usually you leave something hiking related or something that defines where you're from. We found our first geocache this weekend at Friday Harbor. It was a good hike up some very steep hills. We took a key chain from Chile, and left one of Dean's squadron patches. It was a great thing to do as a family. We can't wait to do it again!

That is so cool, I never new about such a thing existing. It is lucky you guys have Sam there in case you run into any trouble since the kid can run 100 miles into town without getting winded if u needed it. U guys are awesome!
